A Bengali American filmmaker, Sharbari Bose Kamat is deeply passionate about sparking dialogue around mental health and giving voice to the underrepresented, particularly women of color and the LGBTQ+ community. She is drawn toward raw human emotion, using it to forge bridges between people who would typically not identify with each other. Sharbari believes her purpose as an artist is to distill the truth into beautiful imagery, heal through the creative process, and inspire others to do the same.
Sharbari holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from New York University and a master's in English from Brooklyn College. Prior to filmmaking, she had worked in communications for 20 years. In 2022, she filmed a short documentary featuring women of diverse backgrounds who shared their abortion stories publicly for the first time. That rewarding experience inspired her to follow her passion for documentary work full-time. Sharbari is founder of Hunter & Tigress Media. Incarnations of I is her first feature-length film.

Blige’s My Life, Anxious Nation, Liberation Heroes, and Daughters of Destiny. She has won over 60 awards including the Oscar, The Leonard Maltin Humanitarian Award, and The Television Academy Emmy Honors Award for Social Impact.

An award-winning singer-songwriter and composer, Rianjali Bhowmick has collaborated with A.R. Rahman, U2, Bishop Briggs, and Shawn Mendes. She has worked on several noteworthy projects including the Netflix Original docuseries Daughters of Destiny, Amazon Prime’s Harmony, Le Musk, Blinded by the Light, and Love Sonia. Rianjali recently produced and composed for shorts Seeing God and Saltwater.
